My name is Brian and I am very much a bibliophile. To the extent that when a young child saw some of my collection he said, "It looks like you live in a library!" Needless to say, I was not expecting that one. Twenty-seven boxes of books does give that effect.

I learned to bind books in the early 2000s while in college in South Carolina, printing a Geneva Bible on my computer printer, sewing the signatures with dental floss, binding it with an old tee-shirt which I had dyed with home-made iron-gall ink,  and binding it in my dorm room. Because of the state of my bank account at the time I had to use make-shift materials, but I came out of it alot more educated about books and their binding and care than I ever expected to learn.

Fast-forward a number of years to 2022 when I inherited a Bible from an uncle who had gotten it second-hand. The Bible was printed in the mid 1800s and had no cover. Needless to say, it has since become, along with the Geneva Bible, a sort-of poster child for the business. Pictures will be loaded when it is complete.
